GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL:

a. Cane growers:

i. The Chief Executive of the mills are conducting periodic meetings for considering and disposing the representations/petitions received from the Cane growers.

ii. The Chief Executives of the Mills are also participating in the meeting convened by the District Administration on the agricultural grievance redressal day and arrange for redressing the grievances expressed by the cane growers in such meetings.

iii. Village level meetings are conducted periodically by the Chief cane officer and Chief Executive and grievances of cane growers are sorted out.

b. Sugar Dealers & Consumers:

A Sugar sales Committee exists for the purpose of finalising the sugar tenders and to redress the grievances of sugar dealers, if any. The main buyer of sugar from the mills is Tamilnadu Civil Supplies Corporation. The Chief Executive is conducting periodical meetings with buyers to sort out problems on quality, weighment etc.
