OBJECTIVES
The objectives envisaged in the Memorandum and Articles
of Association of these Companies were:
(i) To manufacture sugar and all the allied products.
(ii) To purchase, manufacture, produce, refine,
prepare, import and export, sell and to deal in sugar of all
varieties, sugar buts, sugarcane, molasses, jaggery etc.
(iii) To aid, promote and operate schemes for
development of sugar cane in particular and all other agricultural
crops and produce in general.
(iv) To function as a consultancy organisation
(v)
Commercial exploitation of sugar rich variety of sugar cane to ensure
higher recovery of sugar.
(vi)
Offering consultancy for implementation of new and expansion sugar
projects.
MISSION
To promote economic development and employment opportunities in rural
and backward areas by encouraging cultivation of cane and promoting
setting up of sugar mills.
